Prime Minister Janez Janša met today with the representatives of automotive companies united in the GREMO consortium.
The meeting of the Prime Minister with representatives of companies of the Slovenian automotive industry, educational institutions and associations participating in the project of development of e-mobility entitled “GREMO” was attended by Director of Hidria, d. o. o., Iztok Seljak, President of the Management Board of Domel Holding, d. d., Matjaž Čemažar, President of the Management Board of Kolektor Group, d. d., Radovan Bolko, Tomaž Katrašnik from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Tatjana Mohorič, Director of the GIZ ACS Slovenian Automotive Cluster.
The discussion was about the GREMO (GREen MObility) project developed by ten of the most prominent members/companies of the ACS – Automotive Cluster of Slovenia (Domel, Hidria, Iskra Mehanizmi, Kolektor, LTH Castings, SIJ Acroni TAB, Talum, TPV and Unior). The GREMO project will develop and manufacture new innovative products for electrified mobility, develop state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies, accelerate the introduction of advanced robotics, automation and digitalisation of manufacturing according to Industry 4.0 principles, provide circular economy solutions in manufacturing processes and thus significantly contribute to the reduction of the environmental footprint and to the development of the entire Slovenian automotive industry.
