Branko Simonovič sent an official statement to the media that he could not sign a constructive vote of no confidence. It seems that the candidate for the mandate from KUL, Karl Erjavec, will receive only three votes within his parliamentary group.
Erjavec will therefore not get four votes from his MPs. They promise him only three votes, and the question is also what value these votes will have in parliament. »I regret that there are not 43 votes. There will be only 42 signatures in support of constructive vote of no confidence. I am still convinced that it can succeed,« Erjavec said.
However, threats have already begun against MP Simonovič, who has already been accused of illegal construction. This is what the left-wing extremists hiding behind the name Anonymous wrote: »We recommend Simonovič to sell the black construction immediately and move to some SDS-friendly place. He did not betray Karl, he betrayed his (this could be debated) nation. He is not needed to file a vote of no confidence, but he will burn in hell, according to EMŠO, relatively soon.«

However, a group of 42 deputies with the first signatory Brane Golubović (LMŠ) filed a motion of constructive vote of no confidence in the National Assembly today with the candidate for the new Prime Minister being Karl Erjavec. The signatures under the proposal were contributed by the LMŠ, SD, Levica and SAB parliamentary groups and three DeSUS MPs.
A secret ballot on the constructive vote of no confidence is expected to take place at an extraordinary session of the National Assembly next week. A new Prime Minister can only be elected by an absolute majority, ie by at least 46 votes of all members of Parliament.
