Robert Golob’s government recently announced a new tax pogrom. Two measures were presented. Restructuring taxes on labour and very likely an increase in tax burdens and the introduction of new taxes on real estate and other assets such as cars and the like. The government has announced that it will not start taxing deposits, as such taxation would be too easy for citizens to avoid. We asked the director of the Ajdovska gazela Bia Separations for his opinion on the government’s announcements, who does not hide his disappointment with the government’s announcements. The new taxes will hit the poor, the hard-working the most, and at the same time will make the operation of the economy very difficult.
“The announced tax changes will by far affect the middle and lower classes the most. Taxation of travel expenses is a real flower that will affect Ljubljana the most, as employees will no longer be able to afford to drive. And correspondingly, hospitals will have even greater problems with nurses, hotels will be left without cleaners, inns without waiters and cooks, kindergartens, and schools without staff,” said entrepreneur Aleš Štrancar sharply.
Former finance minister Janez Šuštaršič already commented yesterday that the announced property taxation will be very difficult to implement, and Štrancar agrees with his opinion, saying that the proposals proposed by Slovenian tycoons are in cooperation with the “so-called left”, a scam of an ordinary citizen.
The most affected will be those who worked hard
“The wealthiest, especially Slovenian tycoons, have their assets abroad, in tax havens, and the Slovenian FURS has absolutely no chance of tracking these assets, let alone taxing them. The most affected will be those who worked for 30 years to build a house, which they will have to sell in a couple of years, because they will not be able to afford the high property taxes. Farms will also fall apart because of this. Similar to what has been happening in the US for decades. And let’s not forget that former US President Barak Obama, through Nika Kovač and her ilk, together with Soros and his Slovenian scholarship holders, helped enthrone this government. The goal of Obama, Soros and the like is to establish a global state ruled by the financial elite, and we will remain their slaves,” said the entrepreneur.
Higher taxes mean greater sacks for theft
Štrancar then explains that the goal of raising taxes can only be one, that is to increase the tax-paying pool, from which the elites can then steal. “The goal is clear; taxpayers must collect as much as possible so that they can fill the empty granaries of their mentors. If the tax changes affected them, they would certainly not go through such taxation. Higher taxes in our country serve only one purpose, a bigger sack to steal from. And in order to cover up the theft, it is necessary to pay a lot of civil servants to look away, and a lot of media to spin reality shows and divide the nation,” Štrancar was harsh, and added: “That is why Slovenian tycoons, such as Prime Minister Golob, the dynasty Pirc-Musar and the like, all members of the new elite, are also introducing such changes.”
We can be comforted by the incompetence of the government
Štrancar does not believe that the government’s announcements will come true, but not because they do not want to, but because of incompetence: “Personally, I think that none of the above will come true, as this government is completely incompetent, only, and just one big theatre of the absurd, a mixture of nepotists, kleptomaniacs, lunatics, and incompetents. Manipulators from the background are already looking for “new” faces to put things in order.”
His predictions are coming true
A year ago, just a few days before the elections, the entrepreneur published a public letter with the title: “Whom I will not vote for”. Unfortunately, his predictions came true, almost to the letter. This is what he wrote: “That is why on Sunday I will NOT vote for parties that are against the current government coalition solely for “ideological” reasons. I will NOT vote for parties whose common denominator and only content is to be against. History teaches us that such parties and ideologies have always brought only misery and suffering to ordinary people.”
He also wrote: “On Sunday we decide between the future and backwardness. Between development and chaos. We are deciding whether we will have a government that will solve problems or a government that will collapse after a year of operation due to mutual disputes, as three governments have already collapsed in the last decade. We decide whether healthy domestic capital will invest in Slovenia or outside it. Above all, we are deciding whether we will leave our children and grandchildren a homeland in which they will live freely, or whether we will condemn them to servitude to foreign and domestic tycoons.”
