This is a national political pathology that has left pedigrees,” psychoanalyst Roman Vodeb commented on the data that Slovenia has become the first country in the world in terms of the weekly average of infections.
On Saturday, 5,451 PCR tests were performed in Slovenia and confirmed 2,313 infections with the new coronavirus, the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) announced. 42.4 percent of the tests performed were positive. According to the NIJZ, there are 36,032 active cases of infections in the country. The seven-day average of confirmed cases rose to 2,858, which is 92 more than the day before. The fourteen-day average of confirmed infections per 100,000 people is 1707, or 38 more than the day before.
The latest data on the seven-day average put Slovenia in first place in the world in terms of infections. “Dear fellow citizens, we have just become the first in the world after a weekly average of new infections. Not just in the EU, all over the planet!” Dr Sašo Dolenc commented on the latest epidemiological data.
Instead of fighting the epidemic, they waged war against the government

The left of politics, civil society and the media has taken the epidemic as a political battleground, resulting in a number of infections and finally deaths. If in the democratic world the parties were united and took part in the fight against the epidemic, the situation in Slovenia is completely turned upside down. Despite the epidemic, they are waging a fierce fight against the government on the left, with neither human life, economic consequences and the fate of the health care system sacred to them.
