Commission for the Prevention of Corruption didn’t find the opinion about the incompatibility of functions of the President of the Court of Audit of the Republic of Slovenia Tomaž Vesel, who is carrying out additional activities in the International Federation of Association Football.
The Commission has stated today that it does not have the documentation regarding the opinion about the incompatibility and the contrast of interests in carrying out additional activity in International Football Association (FIFA), which was supposedly given by the Commission to the president of the Court of Audit Tomaž Vesel some years ago.
As they stated in their public message, the Commission did not find the mentioned opinion in its documentation, and therefore cannot comment on it. “According to the available information, the opinion about the additional activities in FIFA was given within the frame of indirect communication between representatives of both institutions, which can be confirmed by the former President of the Commission, Boris Štefanec”, they added.
