Non-government officials announced yesterday’s protest against the war in Ukraine. The latter shared a post on their Instagram when inviting to protest: “Against imperialism and against all nationalisms. Let’s stop the wars. Let’s support the borders.”
MAO, Youth Activist Organisation, believes that there is no good or bad side in this war, which means that they also do not support Ukrainians in defending their country. As they said, their collective does not stand on either side, but they condemn imperialism of all kinds and the measurement of power. “Especially because the leaders do not feel the consequences of their actions, only the people suffer. There will be no winners in a war provoked by Putin and made possible by the West. That is why the only ones to whom we can express solidarity are the people,” they said, adding: “Against war for the interests of capital.”
In their stories, they claim that the anti-authoritarian self-defence unit Revolutionary Committee in Kiev established an anarchist movement. Ukrainians, Russians, and Belarusians are supposedly taking part in it. “Anarchist self-defence cells are also being set up in some other Ukrainian cities. Part of the movement also successfully fled outside Ukraine with the help of the international anarchist movement,” they added.

They are also against Ukrainian nationalism, which they say is strongly present and influential. “Just like fascist and neo-Nazi civilian, party also paramilitary formations.”
If we translate their records into practice, this means that they betrayed Ukraine, brutally attacked by aggressor Russia, which attacks civilians daily and violates international conventions, which will lead the International Criminal Court to investigate war crimes and crimes against humanity. Both the MAO and other NGOs are an extension of the leftists – the successors of the Communists, who on April 26th, when World War II was raging in Europe, formed an anti-imperialist front against allies who fought against criminal Nazism and communism. Let us recall that until the Nazi German attack on the Soviet Union, the Slovene Communists were allies.
