Slovenia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) signed a memorandum of understanding on sustainable development and food systems as Agriculture Minister Jože Podgoršek held talks with Emirati Environment and Climate Change Minister Mariam Bint Mohammed Saeed Hareb Almheiri.
Podgoršek said the two countries would “develop cooperation in sustainable rural development, sustainable food production, food safety, veterinary and phytosanitary issues, and the promotion of trade in agricultural products,” according to the Agriculture Ministry.
