A total of 2,245 new cases of coronavirus were recorded on Saturday, a slight decrease week-on-week, with the positivity rate standing at 47.4%.
The situation in hospitals is still critical, as the government reported that 1,126 people were being treated in hospitals for Covid-19 this morning, 26 more than yesterday, of which 269 required intensive care, up by three. Another 19 patients died.
