The Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Affairs has secured a total of 1,107 additional places in care homes all over the country, as EUR 65 million was allocated towards that goal.
Almost a third of the newly available places will open in the region of Gorenjska in the north-west, the ministry said. The region with the most additional spots in care homes, Gorenjska, will provide 348 spots in the towns of Škofja Loka, Radovljica and Cerklje.
