The Foreign Ministry responded on the enlargement package for the Western Balkan and Turkey, which the EU Commission presented on Tuesday, stressing the importance of a credible enlargement policy for peace, stability, security and economic growth of Europe.
Slovenia supports the Commission’s economic and investment plan, it said in a reference to a document, envisaging up to EUR 9 billion in support to the region in 2021-2027, and EUR 20 billion in potential investment.
