Ivan Simič, director general of the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia, accused the coordinator of the Levica party, Luka Mesec, of lying about him at a confrontation on POP TV and had already announced that he would file a criminal complaint against Mesec by Wednesday. Simič resents Mesec for repeating his untrue claims for several days without backing up his words with any evidence.
“Luka Mesec is lying again in a confrontation on POP TV. I never sat together with Bavčar and Matoz. Nothing has been written off for Bavčar. He has been lying for several days and does not provide any evidence because there is none. It is hard to find a bigger liar,” warned Ivan Simič, Director General of the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia on Twitter on Monday, April 17th, 2022.
“A party that has such a liar as president, like Luka Mesec, the president of the Levica party, has nothing to look for in the National Assembly. It is a shame for politics,” Simič is convinced. “If they are in government, they will accuse others with lies, condemn them, and imprison them. If they could, they would kill with lies. We do not need that.”
Simič also said that he had already ordered his lawyer to prepare a criminal complaint against the coordinator of the Levica, Luka Mesec, which would be filed on Wednesday at the latest. “Luka Mesec will go to the polls with a criminal complaint,” Simič added.
