It seems evident that last night’s referendum result literally shocked some of the most prominent figures of the transitional left. And in response, they revealed their true nature.
Among them is also Svoboda MP Lena Grgurevič, who some time ago appeared on a supposedly controversial cover of Demokracija and is said to have even filed lawsuits over insults. Her reaction to the referendum, however, is very telling.
This is what she wrote in response to a post by Radio Ognjišče: “SDS (+Nsi henchmen) + CHURCH + Medical Chamber + Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry + Chamber of Commerce… well, the blackie organised himself well, I admit that. And I believe it is high time for the left‑centre to throw off the cloak of understanding and tolerance. Because, when it is too late…”
And what was so controversial in Radio Ognjišče’s post? They published the following quote from a Chilean miner: “We watched the battle between God and the devil. God won! He offered us his hand!” This quote was apparently a real “red rag” for all those under the influence of Satan and his angels. From the experience of the author of these lines, evil spirits react strongly precisely to the truth about themselves. That is why the Svoboda MP’s statement may be more useful for the next elections than it seems at first glance. Because it reveals the nature of evil, which tries to disguise itself, but again and again shows its true face when confronted with the “provoking stimulus.”
Years ago, for example, a screen was set up in Prešeren Square, where a short film about the development of the embryo from conception to birth was played in cycles. Without commentary, just footage. Nevertheless, the reaction of left‑wing organisations was extremely intolerant and widely publicised in the media. The consequence was that the film actually gained publicity, and even those who otherwise would not have heard of it did. As one interlocutor, a doctor of natural sciences, told the author of this article, this is proof of “how the devil is in fact primitive and stupid.”
And perhaps this is proof that by the elections the political space will be cleansed of such showbiz clutter. In fact, Golobism revealed its most deadly and satanic side precisely in this referendum …
