An inquiry into police handling an incident in front of the Parliament House in which several MPs were harassed by a group of anti-maskers in early July has found several flaws, including a lack of coordination and a plan of response and subsequent failure to protect the site.
The inquiry was launched after criticism that police had been near the scene but did not intervene as several MPs were harassed by protesters after the National Assembly passed amendments to the communicable diseases act.
