Today, with the Levica party in the coalition, people can no longer ever be sure whether we have already hit rock bottom.
For whenever it seems they cannot sink any lower, Levica always proves that they can outdo themselves and dig even deeper. This also applies when they look for excuses for their failure to manage long-term care and housing policy.
After the debate between SDS MP Karmen Furman and Simon Maljevac, they did not refute the claims of the SDS MP or specify why both projects failed, but instead shifted the blame to “growing pains.” At the same time, they accuse the opposition of failing to address these areas, while their own first measure was the repeal of the Long-Term Care Act, and the minister boasts about housing projects that were in fact initiated by the previous government.
Thus, in Levica they see no fault in their own (non-)work, but once again look for scapegoats in external factors. “Growing pains? I think it is more like cramps from being screwed over dry…” said political analyst Mitja Iršič bluntly.
