How many jobs will the SD gain for their unelected MEPs?

By E-Maribor

Times are tough for Tanja Fajon, who may become Foreign Minister. A disastrous result in the elections is still simmering within the party.

The Social Democrats won 6.66% of the vote, or seven seats, while the party’s two vice-presidents, Andreja Katič and Dominika Švarc – Pipan, and vice-president Matjaž Nemec, were not elected, while the other vice-president, Jernej Pikalo, did not stand for election, and Fajon herself barely made it into the National Assembly. However, the bad mood should be smoothed over by the retired communist Milan Kučan himself, who is expected to come to the SD headquarters in the evening, Požareport reports.

But that’s not all. After the poor result in the elections, the SD party is waiting for jobs and everyone is eagerly awaiting Fajon’s negotiations with Golob, what the latter will promise her and how many red secretaries there will be in the ministries. Fajon is offering those who have been left without jobs as ministers: Dejan Židan for Agriculture, Milan M. Cvikl for Cohesion, Švarc – Pipanova for Justice, Emilija Duh – Stojmenova for Higher Education, Science, and Digitalisation, Matjaž Han, who is said to be tired of the Parliament, would like to be Minister of the Economy.
