Government proposes changes to Financial Administration and tax procedure

The government adopted changes to the Financial Administration act and the tax procedure act as part of efforts to upgrade the tax system.

According to the government, the new legislation is to increase the legal safety of taxpayers and cut the red tape. The changes envisage organisational changes within the Tax Administration that should speed up proceedings and increase efficiency. They introduce a panel for deciding on the most complex tax proceedings.
