The government adopted at a correspondence session the supervision of space activities bill, which is to regulate space activities in the country and set up a register of space objects.
According to the Government Communication Office (UKOM), this is the first piece of legislation to deal with space activities in Slovenia. In line with international rules, all objects launched into space must be entered into a space objects registry. Since Slovenia has no such registry, the bill sets it up and defines which objects should be entered into it.
