Slovenia’s economy grew at an annual rate of 8.2% in the second quarter of the year driven by domestic and foreign demand, in particular household spending and exports of services, according to preliminary figures released by the Statistics Office.
The rate is a slowdown from the nominal annual rate of 9.6% in the quarter before as the latest data shows. Seasonally-adjusted growth run at an annual rate 8.3% and a quarterly rate of 0.9%, which compares to the eurozone average of 8.3% and 0.7%, respectively.
