The average gross pay in Slovenia rose by 6.1% in nominal terms in 2021 to EUR 1,970, the fastest pace in five years.
The increase was almost equally driven by the public and private sectors, show the latest Statistics Office figures. While the nominal increase is the fastest in five years, the real increase was a more modest 4.1% due to high inflation last year.
