A further 497 people tested positive for coronavirus in Slovenia on Monday and six patients with Covid-19 died as hospitalisations dropped below 400 for the first time in nearly seven months, official data show.
Data released by the government show 4,232 PCR tests were performed, for a positivity rate of 11.7%. The latest daily case count marks a slight increase (1.4%) from Monday a week ago, but data from the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) show the 7-day average of new cases remains flat at 444. Hospitalisations were at 383, the lowest figure since 21 October.
