There will be over 100 farmstead cheeses to chose from as 35 Slovenian cheesemakers put their wares on show at the first ever festival of Slovenian cheese at Brdo pri Kranju estate on Tuesday.
The festival will feature not just cheese tasting but also culinary workshops.
It will mark the 20th anniversary of the Association of Farmstead Cheesemakers and is meant to show how far the art of making cheese has come since farmers first got organised in the 1990s.
