Ever since the U.S. military’s withdrawal from Afghanistan, the international community has been dealing with the aftermath of the Joe Biden administration’s move. One of the consequences is, of course, migration, which is currently on the rise and creates a new challenge for us and the entire European region.
An illustration of the fact that we have a long battle ahead of us can be found in the reports of the police administrations in Slovenia. Just yesterday, Koper police arrested and treated as many as 19 illegal migrants, all of whom were Afghan citizens.
