This time they found migrants even from Bolivia

By: C.R.

On Saturday morning in Žuniči, Črnomelj police arrested 11 Afghan citizens who had entered the country outside the border crossings. In the afternoon, a Cameroonian citizen was arrested in the settlement of Sinji Vrh.

On Sunday morning, Brežice and traffic police officers and police officers from the specialised border control unit arrested a Bolivian citizen with a residence permit in Spain on the motorway towards Ljubljana, who had three other Bolivian citizens and a Spanish citizen in the car. The latter have supposedly come to Slovenia somewhere near Nova vas near Mokrice. A 21-year-old driver from Bolivia was detained on suspicion of committing the crime of aiding in the illegal crossing of the state border, and criminal investigators from Novo mesto became involved in the work.

On Sunday afternoon, police officers from Dolenjske toplice near Stare Žage arrested a citizen of Sudan.

On the night from Sunday to Monday, police officers of the specialised unit for the control of the state border in Krško arrested four Iranian citizens at the railway station. Trebnje police arrested two citizens of Afghanistan in Mirna Peč and two more in Vrhpeč. The proceedings with foreigners who have illegally crossed the state border are not over yet.
