In the last 24 hours, police officers dealt with 9 illegal migrants in the area of the Koper Police Administration: 3 citizens of Afghanistan near Rakitovec, 1 citizen of Turkey in Ilirska Bistrica, 3 citizens of Iran in Rakitovec, 1 citizen of Pakistan in Škofije, and 1 citizen of Pakistan in Koper.
Yesterday around 5 am (yesterday’s press release), police officers at the Hrvoje crossing barrier noticed a vehicle with Hungarian registration plates. He did not stop at the stop signs (repeated several times), but drove on. A stinger was set up near Mostičje, which he drove over, but then the Mercedes G car stopped and the people from the vehicle fled. Police arrested 9 Pakistani nationals and 1 Afghan national, the driver fled. Over time, a 23-year-old Romanian citizen was tracked down, who also admitted to driving a car. Proceedings are still ongoing.
