Styrian police officers again discovered hidden passengers

By: C.R.

Police officers dealt with the illegal crossing of the state border at 9.23 am yesterday. In Maribor, in the parking lot of the company in Tezno, an Afghan citizen was discovered while opening the loading space of a truck, hidden in a trailer, who entered the Republic of Slovenia illegally. Upon completion of the proceedings, the foreigner was returned to the Croatian security authorities.

Police stopped a car with Polish registration plates in Meje yesterday at 3 pm, transporting four Polish citizens. In the proceedings, it was established that the citizens of Poland had crossed the state border outside the border crossing point and did not have the appropriate permission to cross the state border at that crossing point. As they met the conditions for entry at the international border crossing, they were fined and allowed to continue their journey.

Police officers from the Gruškovje Border Police Station found five foreigners, including three Afghan nationals and two Iraqi nationals, trying to evade border control during a thorough border check in the trailer of a Bosnian-registered truck. After the procedure was completed, they were returned to the Croatian security authorities.
