Prime Minister Janez Janša met today with the Latvian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Edgars Rinkēvičs, who is on an official visit to Slovenia.
Slovenia and Latvia maintain a regular political dialogue and share similar views on a number of international issues. There is exemplary cooperation between the two countries within the European Union, NATO and other international fora.
Today’s discussion focused on bilateral relations between the two countries and current foreign policy issues, in particular regarding Russia and Ukraine.
