PM Morawiecki: Poland set to return to growth

By: V4 Agency

Thanks to solidarity and government support, Poland could make a rapid return to a trajectory of economic growth, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki wrote on Facebook. Revitalising businesses remains a government priority and statistics from 2020 suggest that it will succeed in that, he added.

“Thanks to solidarity, government support, investment programmes and cooperation with entrepreneurs, Poland will return to a trajectory of growth,” Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki wrote on social media.

Currently, the key question is not whether Poland and Europe will emerge from the crisis but how they will emerge, the Polish premier added.

Investment figures for 2020 show that thanks to corporate activities, Poland could rapidly return to economic growth, Mr Morawiecki said during his visit in Silesia on Monday, adding that “this year could be, and will be a good one”.
