Photo exhibit uses taxpayers’ money to present work of migrant rescue ships

By: V4 Agency

The photo exhibition at the town hall presenting the work of migrant taxi services on the Mediterranean is a propaganda tool by promoters of illegal migration, Stephan Ravier, a senator of the right-wing National Rally says. The city’s socialist leadership is encouraging this illegal invasion, Ravier says in his recent video, adding that the exhibition is nothing else than a brainwashing tactic to convince the French to surrender their country to an invading army.

Taxpayers’ money was used to organise a photo exhibition at the town hall in Marseille to present the work of migrant rescue ships run by NGOs on the Mediterranean, right-wing National Rally senator Stephane Ravier says in a video. The exhibition presents the activities of Aquarius and Ocean Viking, two ships operated by SOS Mediterranee, whose home port is in Marseille.

Announcing the exhibition on social media, Mayor Benoit Payan also paid respect to the “heroes” who “save” women, men, and children at sea.

The mayor’s post has provoked a number of critical comments. Some pointed out that public security has deteriorated due to mass immigration, noting that the integration of migrants has not been too successful. Others accused the mayor of promoting migration to France by turning a blind eye to thousands of migrants being smuggled into the country, bringing violence, insecurity, and misery to Marseille.

Theexhibition is nothing else that a brainwashing tactic to convince the French to surrender their country to an invading army, Rair Foundation reported, referring to senator Stephane Ravier’s comment made in his recent video shared on social media. He described the exhibition as sheer propaganda to brainwash the people of Marseille and persuade them to accept the huge amount of immigration, which the politician described as “an invasion.”

Senator Ravier accused Marseille’s socialist municipality of encouraging “the invasion of our country by supporting SOS Mediterranean” and using taxpayer money to push “the propaganda of those in favour of illegal immigration.”

One must notice that the pictures of this “very tearful” exhibition almost exclusively show young men, the senator has said.

They “should remain in their own countries, to defend and fight for their homelands, but they prefer to come to the coasts of Europe in hope of finding an abundant social welfare system, some type of El Dorado,” the politician said.

He added that the photographs show an extremely well-funded invasion of Europe by George Soros.

This “organised invasion of Europe” does not benefit the people of Marseille, the French or the Europeans, who are bearing the full brunt of the economic and social cost,” Ravier stated, adding that it comes “at the cost of their identity and their security.”

“Let me remind you that the last Islamist attack in Nice was the work of a so-called Tunisian refugee who had transited through these so-called refugee networks,” the senator said.

According to Ravier, the leadership in the “communist city hall” of Marseilles is more concerned about illegals than their own citizens. “Well, I want to remind them that it’s the people of Marseille who must come first in Marseille.”
