Police officers from Lower Carniola arrested almost two dozen illegal migrants while performing tasks of guarding the state border.
In the area of Rigonc (PS Brežice) a citizen of Algeria was tracked down and arrested, in the area of Bistrica and Doblička Gora (PS Črnomelj) ten citizens of Pakistan and seven citizens of Bangladesh, in Ručetna vas (PS Črnomelj) two citizens of Bangladesh and two citizens of Pakistan. Police proceedings with foreigners who have illegally crossed the state border have not yet been completed.
