For a year now, we have been anxiously observing what is happening to the Slovene nation and Slovene political culture. At the moment when the parliament elected the new Janša government after the resignation of Šarec’s government, the orchestrated production of lies and hatred exploded.
We immediately got a street hysterical shouts “kill Janša”, “death to Janšism”. The vulgar harassment of the NIJZ director by Zlatan Čordić, threatening letters of beheading the Prime Minister’s family, threats to hang and publicly burn and stone images of politicians, spitting in the faces of MPs… all this heralds a new era that logically leads to a new painful catharsis.
The final touch was sent to us by Tea Jarc from Kredarica on Friday evening (August 20th, 2021). Her record, with which she swears the evening mountain idyll, moved me greatly. Amazing how much bitterness, aggression and hatred a woman can carry in her heart. From her vulgar attack, I can conclude that there is not a hint of beautiful, attractive, feminine in her. Even when she goes to Triglav, she cannot leave this sad burden in the valley. She cannot because it is all part of her subconscious, her personality, her identity. For this unfortunate condition in which such a person is caught, the biblical language has a special expression.
Left fascism exposed itself with Tea Jarc
Yet she is becoming a central activist of Friday’s protests. The idol of the protesters, their role model and hallmark. In this way, she obviously embodies the intellectual surplus of the Slovene left. Has Slovenia become too free to rise and spread lies and incite ideological aggression? Perhaps. But total freedom of speech, freedom of the media, freedom to lie, shout and threaten, freedom to insult, humiliate and spit in the face also has its positive side. This is a complete unveiling of Slovenian left fascism.
The realisation is the first step towards the healing of Slovenian society. Two weeks before the vulgar attack, I was in Kredarica and Triglav as well. I was happily surprised at how many young, kind, empathetic people I met. People in whom you feel they carry within them a wealth of benevolence and humanity, and in the hills they also find beauty and inner peace. There are still friendly people. Deep in the depths of their soul kind and benevolent. And I am sure those are the majority, the vast majority. As long as this is the case, there is no fear for the Slovenian nation and the state of Slovenia.
