The Afghans hid among the cargo

The driver of a truck with Slovenian registration plates drove to the Obrežje border crossing to enter Slovenia.

Police officers carried out a border control and found two Afghan citizens in the cargo area, who, hidden among the cargo, tried to avoid the border control and enter Slovenia illegally. After the procedure was completed, the foreigners were handed over to the Croatian security authorities. Moreover, while performing tasks of guarding the state border in the Črnomelj area, police officers of the Novo mesto Police Department tracked down and arrested an Afghan citizen, and an Iranian citizen and an Afghan citizen in the area of Dolenjci (PP Črnomelj).
