On Sunday night, Gottsundaskolan – a secondary school with around 450 students, was burned down in the troubled and migrant-dominated “vulnerable area”, Gottsunda in Uppsala. Two of the school’s three buildings were completely destroyed, and the third building was severely damaged, reports Voice of Europe.
Two teenage girls were arrested by the police suspected of having started the fire. Due to their young age they were released after interrogation, but suspicions of aggravated arson persist.
Building a new school will cost between €10-20 million. Nonetheless, this is not a rare event in Sweden nowadays.
