Nine-year-old migrant boys threaten school kids with knives near German school – Parents in fear

Two children from the Charles Darwin Elementary School in Chemnitz say they have been threatened with knives by 9-year-old migrant boys, German news outlet TAG24 reports

At the school, in which 54 per cent of the students have a migration background, the incident has caused parents and teachers to fear for their children’s safety.

Andreas Lindner, the father of one of the school’s pupils, was informed by his 9-year-old daughter about the incident. “She said that two boys with a migrant background threatened other boys with a knife,” Lindner says.

Roman Schulz, a spokesman for the State Office for Education and School, confirmed to news outlet TAG24 that there was an incident at the school.
