Majority of Germans feel strangers in their own country since the influx of Muslim migrants – Study

Xenophobia is what it’s being branded, but the truth revealed from a survey conducted by researchers from Leipzig, is that in West and East Germany, people feel less at home in their country because of the influx of Muslims and believe Germany should not let them in, reports Voice of Europe.

 

The Leipzig Study on Authoritarian Trends reveals that 24 per cent of respondents have a negative attitude towards migrants.

What is more, 36 per cent agree that foreigners only come to Germany to take advantage of freely given benefits, while over a quarter of those would send foreigners back to their homelands if employment became in short supply.
