Bosnia: Two migrants found dead after fight

The bodies of two male migrants were found in Bosnia, near the Croatian border, on Thursday. They were discovered after a local resident had reported a large fight between groups of migrants to the authorities.

The local Ministry of the Interior was notified of a fight that had broken out in the village of Crnaja, in the Cazin region of Bosnia’s Una-Sana Canton, at approximately 4:25 PM on Thursday.

The call was placed by a resident of another village in the region, according to a report by The Sarajevo Times.

Police officers and an ambulance were despatched to the scene. When officers arrived, they found the bodies of two migrants who had been stabbed to death.

The authorities detained a group of migrants who were present for interrogation and processing. Their identities are unknown.

The local Prosecutor went to the scene as well, and an investigation into the murders is underway, including establishing whether or not there is a connection between the migrants’ deaths and the fight that was reported.
