German workshops teach migrants what separates rape from consensual sex

Migrants living in Germany are being given “cultural adaptation” courses to “teach” them what differentiates consensual sex from rape – as if they didn’t already know.

The courses, requested by Germany’s (CSU) integration commissioner, Annette Widmann-Mauz, and organized by the Norwegian organization Hero, have been implemented in response to a drastic rise in sexual assaults committed by migrants.

In particular, the workshop course was create after a gang rape in Freiburg where 11 military-aged migrant men raped an 18-year-old woman.

The attack, like the many sexual assaults that have occurred in Germany before it, created a burst of national outrage which has since dissipated.

An AFP report on the Together for Respect and Security course offered in Berlin showed that “More sexual education classes are being offered to refugees in Berlin following recent cases of rape and assault in Germany.”
