During the inspection of a truck with Bulgarian license plates at the entrance to Slovenia, police officers from Border Police Station Obrežje discovered four Afghan citizens who were hiding among cargo and tried to avoid border control and enter Slovenia illegally.
A Moroccan citizen and a Tunisian citizen were also found in a truck with Romanian registration plates. They were similarly trying to evade border controls. After the procedure was completed, the foreigners were handed over to the Croatian security authorities.
Illegal state border crossings
While performing the tasks of guarding the state border, the police officers of the Brežice Police Department tracked down and arrested six citizens of Afghanistan and two citizens of Iran who had illegally crossed the state border. Police officers from the Novo mesto Police Department arrested two Afghan citizens near Mirna Peč, who had crossed the state border illegally.
Illegal migration
On Saturday, police officers dealt with 2 citizens of Bangladesh in Abitanti, 2 citizens of Tunisia and 1 citizen of Algeria in Zabiče, and two citizens of Iraq in Dol pri Hrastovljah.
