He was illegally transporting four Afghan citizens in a truck

Police officers at Border Police Station Obrežje discovered two Moroccan citizens during a control of a truck with Bosnian license plates. The Moroccan citizens were hiding among the cargo and tried to avoid the border control and enter Slovenia illegally.

Four Afghan citizens were also found in a truck with Bulgarian license plates, similarly they were trying to evade border control. After the procedure was completed, the foreigners were handed over to the Croatian security authorities.

Yesterday afternoon, at the Polskava rest area along the A1 motorway, police officers arrested a Turkish citizen who was found to have entered the territory of Slovenia illegally on the green border on January 20^th, 2021. Police officers will hand him over to the Croatian security authorities today.
