German media reports about a 19-year-old Iranian immigrant who fabricated an attack on himself in Bielefeld. He claimed that the perpetrators had carved a swastika into his skin and inflicted further injuries. But it turned out that the whole attack and robbery was a lie. Iranian has later confessed to the police that the wounds, including a swastika carved on his skin, were self-inflicted.
According to the police, the young man wanted to attract attention by making the facts public. Criminal proceedings were initiated against the 19-year-old for feigning a crime. It was also established that the Iranian is said to have reported a similar crime as early as January, which also turned out to be false.
In spite of his confession and confirmations of both the police and the medical examiner who examined Iranian´s wounds that the attack was fabricated, the left wing has instantly sided with the false victim and made accusations against the police without waiting for further investigation results on the truth. The left also quickly organized demonstrations against “racism”. Despite the fact that the attack was fabricated, the organisers did not cancel their demonstrations when they found out. Some 200 people demonstrated in city center, chanting there is no right for Nazi propaganda” and “shoulder to shoulder against fascism”.
