Most of the illegal migrants caught on the southern border come from Pakistan.
From the 21st to the 24th of September police officers, while carrying out state security tasks in the areas of Bojanci, Sinji Vrh, Dolenjci, Adlešiči, Tribuče, Šakovci, Sečje selo, Kovačji gradi and Črnomelj, traced and arrested 36 foreigners who have illegally crossed the state border.
The police procedures were not yet concluded with the thirteen Pakistani citizens, six Moroccan citizens, five Iranian citizens and five Syrian citizens, two citizens from Afghanistan and Iraq respectively, and one citizen from Tunisia, Algeria and Eritrea respectively.
