While performing the tasks of protecting the state border in the Žuniče area (PS Črnomelj), the police tracked down and arrested 21 citizens of Afghanistan, three citizens of Pakistan near Slovenska vas, and three citizens of Iran in Podgračeno (PS Brežice). Police proceedings with foreigners who have illegally crossed the state border have not yet been completed.
In the last 24 hours, police officers from the Ljubljana Police Administration tracked down and arrested four foreigners (Iranian citizens) who had illegally crossed the state border while performing tasks of guarding the state border in the Ljubljana area. Proceedings with foreigners are still ongoing.
