12 Afghans headed across the Kolpa River to the Slovenian side, while in Primorska as many as 49 new illegal migrants were found

While performing the tasks of guarding the state border in the area of Vukovci and Nova Lipa, police officers of the Črnomelj Police Department tracked down and arrested 12 Afghan citizens who had illegally crossed the state border. Police proceedings with foreigners are still ongoing.

 

Although police officers from the Ljubljana Police Department did not report any new arrests of illegal migrants, the Koper Police Department was very busy. In the last 24 hours, 49 illegal migrants were dealt with in the area of Koper. Four Nepalese were arrested in Koper, thirteen Afghans near Ilirska Bistrica, while the Italians returned as many as 31 migrants – one was a Moroccan citizen and the others were citizens of Afghanistan.
