A group of young protesters appeared at Friday’s protests, carrying posters with the inscription MAO (otherwise short for Youth Activist Organization), decorated with a clenched fist. The right political wing, of course, flinched at this, as Mao and a clenched fist symbolize communist terror that even Stalin would not be ashamed of. Jože Možina tweeted about this, sharing a video by Paul Joseph Watson about ritual shame and parallels between what Maoists did to Chinese dissidents and what certain members of AntiFe and BLM are doing today with Trump supporters or people who refuse to symbolically kneel. With left-wing boasting about the mentioned posters and while keeping in mind that the ideas of the Slovene left-wing are “downstream from American culture”, it made the most sense to think that it was an adopted meme of fresh enthusiasm for Maoism. But the response from the left-wing to the outrages of the right-wing was that it was all just a “joke”.
After we (the right-wing) reacted loudly to what seemed to be a bizarre idolatry of probably the worst communist dictator by young left-wing activists, reactions began to come from the left in the sense that it was all just a “joke”. They claim they had known we (the right-wing) were going to react vocally, thus they “joked a little at our expense”, provoked us with the intention of “showing what we are like”.
You don’t understand the joke because you’re too stupid
Jaša Jenull first posted on Facebook that the acronym stands for the Museum of Architecture and Design, trying to convey the message that acronyms can mean many things. He later changed his narrative saying that if they (the right-wing) understood his level of communication, they would comprehend for themselves that the acronym essentially stands for the Youth Activist Organization. Clearly, the leftists attempted to “create some narrative” and decided too late which would be the dominant one.
After reconciling the story, the Youth Activist Organization issued a press release announcing what needs to be pronounced and repeated unanimously by the left-wing regarding the acronym. One of the first people to start proclaiming the agreed upon narrative was Franci Kek.
Ritual embarrassment
The left-wing does not look any better if the original story of a well-thought-out provocation is true and we are mistaken to speculate that they coordinated what they would all say after realizing they were caught and criticized? First, let’s look at Paul Joseph Watson’s video tweeted by Jože Možina.
In the video Paul Joseph Watson argues how in the US, AntiFa and BLM mimic the Maoist ritual of disgrace of dissidents on the street as well as that the ritual disgrace of dissidents are just one aspect of the horrors of the Maoist regime. Maoism is besides socially reprogramming dissidents also and better known for sending dissidents to happy hunting grounds, where all ends.

Acronyms of the Youth Activist Organization and Jenulla’s post are either a coincidence (which they almost certainly are not) or a well-thought marketing move that “sells” by constantly provoking and flirting with totalitarianism. Slavoj Žižek uses similar methods of provocation when he refers to Golobič as Stalin or when he speaks admiringly of Stalin in general.
It is also important to keep in mind that when left-wing dislikes right-wing jokes, the former tends to resort to threats and does not understand them as jokes.
If he looks like a duck, if he walks like a duck…
At best, the left-wing pulled an extremely bad prank. Not so much in terms of content as in terms of the execution. This prank falls into the category of those when you force someone, hint at them, persuade them to say something, and then abuse that against them, saying how you “got” them.
