Only 24.9 percent of respondents consider the government’s work successful, while 70 percent believe the government is unsuccessful, according to the results of the Vox populi survey published by Dnevnik. The reasons for this are the strikes in the public sector and the courthouse scandal, which, among other things, led to the plummeting support for the Social Democrats (SD).
According to the public opinion survey, 24 percent of respondents would vote for the SDS (in January 22.4 percent). For Robert Golob’s party, Gibanje Svoboda, only 10.7 percent of those surveyed would vote (in January 15.3 percent), and the electoral preference for the SD, which lost 52 percent of electoral support compared to the previous month, is 3.9 percent (in January 8.1 percent).
Both the Levica and NSi also experience a slight decline in electoral support. 5.9 percent of respondents would vote for Levica (in January 6.1 percent), and 6.3 percent for NSi (in January 6.4 percent).
