The police are said to have tracked down the suspect who sent threatening letters with bullets to the coalition MPs and ministers of the current government.
In October, we reported that Prime Minister Janez Janša and the Minister of Defence Matej Tonin had received letters in which an unknown perpetrator threatened to liquidate them. The letters also included bullets of a larger calibre. Some other prominent right-wing politicians later also received letters with the same content.
Police have now apparently identified the suspect who allegedly sent the death threats. This has also been confirmed by our source.
The threats keep on coming
In the envelope, Prime Minister Janez Janša also received a photograph of himself with a target drawn on his forehead, and the unknown sender or senders also drew targets on a photograph of his family. Above the photo, a death threat was written, with a warning that “the teams are waiting for the orders.”
And then, in January of this year, some SDS deputies received threats in the form of a letter saying, “We know where you live,” and next to the text, gallows were drawn. According to unofficial but reliable information, the suspected perpetrator sent the letter from the mailbox in Trojane.
