Who is Achiya Schatz? And how is he connected to Nika Kovač, the director of the 8 March Institute? It is known that he took part in the Institute’s press conference, where together with Kovač, journalist Borut Mekina, and Filip Dobranić he attempted to relativise the alleged espionage affair and the wiretaps that exposed corruption in Golob’s government. Where do they even know Schatz from, wrote user Dare on X. So, what connects Kovač and Schatz?
We have already revealed that Kovač is part of a global progressive network. In 2024 she became the executive director of the D‑HUB project, founded by the New Venture Fund and managed by Arabella Advisors (operating as Sunflower Services since November 2025). After Bill Gates withdrew from donating, the largest donor became George Soros’s Open Society Foundations (Soros is known for never giving anything for free, his donations are always carefully calculated). All of this is part of a global, opaque network of left‑wing organisations with practically unlimited budgets – in the billions of euros.
And where does Achiya Schatz fit into this? Schatz is the founder of the NGO Fake Reporter, which is funded by the New Israel Fund (NIF), based in the United States. This foundation allocates funds to Israeli progressive and left‑leaning groups. And who is among the donors to NIF? None other than Soros’s Open Society Foundations (Soros is often described as the king of left‑wing propaganda). Based on this, it is clear that Schatz’s organisation Fake Reporter is also part of the global left‑wing network that ultimately has the same donors at the end of the financial chain.
In the case of the alleged espionage affair, it was therefore a coordinated attack by the global left‑wing network on the Slovenian right (SDS) and an attempt to discredit it. The left has long been coordinating the flow of money through various humanitarian societies, funds, and NGOs …
