One of the left-wing protest initiatives, which is spreading its belief that COVID-19 is merely a scam through social media and is calling for people to shop in stores without their masks on, is starting a new offensive. “We are arranging for a protest in front of the J. J.’s house, in the public area! Let’s see what Dr. Urška has to say! #masksoff,” they wrote on their Facebook page. This entire post is a threat that should attract the police’s attention.
Protest groups are becoming increasingly aggressive and arrogant in their political plans. This time, they started a campaign against the wearing of protective masks, and the initiative Masks off even wants to protest right in front of the home of the Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Janša. In their post, they even mentioned his wife, Urška Bačovnik Janša.
“The nation demands answers; politics are lying to us! It is Janez Janša’s turn to talk to us in person and tell us what this is all about!” they also wrote. Interestingly, they consider themselves to be “the nation” – or rather, they want to be a kind of avant-garde of the working class (so – the Communist Party), except that this time, they will supposedly represent the Slovenian nation.
And of course, they are the only ones who know what is considered to be public space. However, it is bizarre that they have now started to involve the Prime Minister’s closest family in this whole story. It is true, though, that during the so-called “All-Slovenian Uprisings” in the years 2012 and 2013, they announced home visits. All in their signature style of intimidation.
