At Wednesday’s session of the Council of the Pension and Disability Insurance Institute, a resolution was adopted, according to which the following payments of social transfers will be increased:
– From the 1st of January 2022, pensions will be adjusted with an increase of 4.4 percent. The adjustment of pensions will be carried out in the payment of pensions for the month of February, when the remaining balance for January will also be paid.
– From the 1st of March 2022 onwards, the assistance and care allowance will be adjusted by 4.9 percent.
– The allowance for assistance and care for the provision of most basic necessities of life and for the visually impaired will amount to 157.35 euros from the 1st of March onward.
– The allowance for assistance and care of a pension beneficiary, who needs 24-hour supervision of relatives, as well as mandatory professional assistance for the continuous provision of nursing care, amounts to 451.27 euros from the 1st of March onward.
