The consequences of Golob’s government’s harmful approach to migration are already evident: a group of migrants in Ljubljana harassed several girls; police confirmed the incident

“WOMEN IN LJUBLJANA ARE NO LONGER SAFE! This happened this morning. Generally, migrants in Ljubljana roam in groups (always young men, why do we never see women??) and target girls. We can thank this government, which removed the border fence,” warned Karin Planinšek, an SDS candidate in the European elections, yesterday.

We have already written about how security in Slovenia has deteriorated during the Robert Golob government’s time. This is partly due to the fact that the police are slower and less diligent in dealing with domestic criminals. Remember the case of the man who threatened passers-by with two knives in Ljubljana’s Bavarski dvor; law enforcement took an hour to neutralise him!

Is the increase in crime a result of demoralising police work?

We wonder if this is the result of demonising police officers during the Friday protests under the last Janša government, when leftist anarchists chanted “police repression”. The current government probably contributed to this by returning fines to all who were rightfully penalised for disturbing public order during the health crisis.

With these actions, the current authorities have come very close to the authorities of democratic metropolises in the USA, where in recent years, due to the demonisation of police work, there has been a dramatic increase in crime and the decline of local communities. The police undoubtedly act too slowly and leniently, which emboldens wrongdoers. Illegal immigrants also greatly contribute to the increase in crime.

Ljubljana: Dark-skinned migrants harass girls, police nowhere to be found!

The Golob government openly invited the former to Slovenia. In the past, we have reported on rapes, robberies, and knife attacks. One of the latest pieces of information relates to violations of sexual integrity. A report published by prominent member of SDM and candidate in the European elections, Karin Planinšek, talks about how a dark-skinned migrant harassed several young girls in Ljubljana. Fortunately, there were enough people nearby to prevent him from doing anything more daring. However, there was no police in sight.

The police response: “Regarding the questions, we can confirm that on April 14th, 2024, around 4 o’clock, we were informed that a group of individuals on Slovenska Street in Ljubljana was behaving indecently towards passers-by. Police patrols were immediately dispatched to the scene, where they identified the identities of five individuals, citizens of Morocco.

So far, no elements of criminal behaviour have been confirmed based on information gathered from the reporter and other individuals at the scene. We urge any potential victims in the incident to notify the police at number 113, call the Ljubljana Centre Police Station at (01) 475 06 00, or personally report to the unit headquarters at Trdinova 10, Ljubljana.”
