Statement of the day: “Do they really think they can sell us every spin? The letter of the left’s programme is on the brink of constitutionality, and the spirit is over the edge!

The former central communist newspaper Delo, owned by tycoon Stojan Petrič, in an article about the possible return of Karel Erjavec to the top of the DeSUS party and an attempt to form a so-called Coalition of the Constitutional Arc, led by economist Jože P. Damijan, deliberates how the Prime Minister Janez Janša is supposed to try to prevent the realisation of the idea of forming a Coalition of the Constitutional Arc. “What kind of constitutional arc?! Do they really think they can sell us every spin? The letter of the left’s programme is on the brink of constitutionality, and the spirit is over the edge,” the former Minister of Education, dr. Žiga Turk, commented on Twitter.

Day to day, Delo builds the story of a new super prime minister and a technical government made up of parties that were not able to cooperate until recently. Jože P. Damijan hopes for the position of technical prime minister and claims that there are no differences among the parties Levica, SD, SAB, and LMŠ.

The interests are great

Today’s Delo record of how the DeSUS party is supposed to discuss the initiative to establish the Coalition of the Constitutional Arc, represents a continuation of the deep state’s efforts in practice. Namely, during the weekend, we could see how a poll in support of Damijan was published in Delo and Dnevnik, according to which he is supposed to enjoy the majority of public support for the position of the future Prime Minister. After the publication in the tycoon’s newsletters, Prime Minister Janez Janša spoke and emphasised that the abstinence crisis at Kolektor is obviously growing, and the madness in the Forum 21 bulletin has been rising every day.

The favourable coverage of the central media in favour of the re-formation of the left-wing government with a technical prime minister is very obvious, however, in the end the decision of the option comes down to the members of the parliament. Currently, there are only 39 votes, which is far from what is required for a constructive vote of no confidence. Given Damijan’s recent appearance on the show Politično (Political), it is not surprising that many citizens have realised that it is basically only about empty phrases of how everyone should be united and how concrete measures should be prepared. Namely, Damijan did not serve anything concrete. It is no wonder that when trying to inflate the popularity of Damijan and his idea of forming a coalition, comments appear in the sense: “And for their lack of ideas, aimlessness (except at any cost of government) the culprit is known once again – who else than Janez Janša! Of course, if you do not know where you want to go, every path is right”; Suzana Kos in the service of a deep state! She must write in accordance with the wishes of the owner Petrič. Private newspaper, normal! The problem arises when TV Slo works in the same way. But many do not want to separate this, even Kadunc! I’m listening to Val 202; it is just an anti-government propaganda!”
